Group training for (young) adults "Living with ADHD"
Présentation
Offre uniquement valable en anglais.
Are you over 16 and have, or suspect you may have, AD(H)D? Do you sometimes find that ADHD gets in the way of your studies, work, relationships or free time? Would you like to gain a better understanding of ADHD and explore what it can mean for you as a (young) adult? Then this training could be for you!
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
Over the course of six sessions, you’ll explore a range of topics through psychoeducation about ADHD, sharing and discussing personal experiences, and learning practical skills and strategies. This includes learning how to improve your planning and organisation, develop strategies to reduce distractibility, and get practical tips for managing procrastination, among other things.
Please note that this training is not a form of treatment.
What you will take away from the training: new insights, practical tools and strategies to help you manage ADHD more effectively in your everyday life.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
The group training Living with AD(H)D is specifically aimed at young adults aged 16 and over who have, or suspect they may have, a diagnosis of AD(H)D.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
- Intake session: Before the training begins, you’ll have a free 45-minute intake session. This is an opportunity to discuss your expectations and make sure the training is a good fit for you.
- Attendance: As the training is designed as a six-session group programme, it is important that participants attend all six sessions.
- Cost: The training is offered as part of the Belgian primary mental health care convention, and each session costs €2.50. The full fee of €15 is payable after the intake session and once your registration has been confirmed.
- Registration: You can register for the September–December 2026 programme or for the spring 2027 programme via https://brucc.be/en/living-with-adhd.
