Babymassage in verbinding // Baby massage in connection
Présentation
Offer available in Dutch and English.
Baby massage in connection is a series for parents with babies in their first year of life who wish to strengthen their bond with their baby, gain a deeper understanding of their child's signals and needs, and find greater calm, connection, and confidence in their parenting journey. This group offer is suitable for both parents seeking preventive support, and for those experiencing questions or mild challenges related to attachment, attunement, stress, or parental self-confidence.
In this series, you will learn a gentle, rhythmic baby massage inspired by Shantala baby massage, a tradition originating in India. Baby massage is not about performing a technique 'perfectly'; rather, it is about creating a moment of connection, attunement, and slowing down together. For touch is one of the most important ways for a baby to experience safety, comfort, and emotional security. At the same time, it offers parents an opportunity to pause, connect with their baby, become more attuned to their baby's cues, and develop confidence in their own intuition and touch.
Combining practical guidance with psychological insights, we explore how touch contributes to attachment, co-regulation, and emotional safety. We reflect on how babies communicate their needs through body language and how, as a parent, you can learn to respond to your baby's rhythm without feeling the need to 'perform' or get everything right. In this way, baby massage becomes more than a technique—it becomes a way of communicating, connecting, and nurturing the parent-baby relationship.
A valuable moment of calm, attention, and closeness for both you and your baby.
